We discuss the calculationof the width difference APB. between the Bs mass eigen-states to next-to-leading order in the heavy quark expansion. l/rat,-corrections are estimated to reduce the leading order result by typically 30%. The error of the present estimate (Al?/P),, = O.lS~ " ,:$ could be substantially improved by pinning down the value of (B,~(~~~~)s-P(~~s~)s-PIB~) and an accuracy of 10% in the observation of CP violation in untagged B, samples.. We briefly mention strategies to measure (AP/P),, , and its implications for constraints on AMB~, CKM parameters and the observation of CP violation in untagged B, samples.
